Inclusions and Exclusions in the Tour Cost for the North Route


Standard tariff

       Visa invitation letter. We will send this as soon as we receive your deposit and a copy of your passport.

       Local registration for foreigners in accordance with Russian law.

       Airport transfer for the group (Mineralnye Vody - Kislovodsk and return).

       Accommodation in a hotel in Kislovodsk (twin room with breakfast)

       Transfer to and from the base camp.

       Accommodation in base camp (10-14 bed cabins) and in high camp (8-bed cabins).

       Services of an experienced mountain guide who will accompany you throughout the programme, as well as assistant guides on the day of the ascent.

       Porter services for transporting group equipment and food from base camp to the upper camp.

       Three meals a day made from natural products, including packed lunches for acclimatization outings and the ascent. Chef services are included throughout the tour.

       Permit to visit the Prielbrusie National Park.

       Group equipment: ropes, carabiners, ice drills, first aid kit.

       Safety equipment: GPS-navigators, radios, registration with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, etc.

       Commemorative badge "For climbing Elbrus."

       Certificate of ascent or of reaching a certain altitude for each participant.

Additional amenities in the "Comfort" tariff

       Individual transfer from and to the airport

      Single room supplement in a hotel in Kislovodsk

       Superior accommodation in the base camp (4-bed cabins)

       Superior accommodation in the assault camp (4-bed cabins)

Please note! The number of Comfort and VIP tariff places is limited due to the limited availability of this type of accommodation. We recommend early booking.

Not included

       Entry visa for Russia

       Compulsory mountaineering insurance

       Private airport transfer from and to MRV airport (30$) 

       Single supplement in Kislovodsk hotel (55$ per person)

       Rental of personal equipment: crampons, ice axe, harness, poles, sleeping bag, etc.

       Porter services for personal belongings (400 rubles per 1 kg of cargo from Base Camp to Assault Camp).

       Accommodation and meal expenses in case of early return to Kislovodsk, as well as transportation costs (transfer from Base Camp to Kislovodsk)

       Additional climbing attempt (450$)

       Climbing the second peak (optional): $120

       Alcoholic beverages during the celebratory dinner.

       Personal expenses and entertainment: sauna at base camp (about 700 rubles), fishing, horse riding, etc.

       Expenses related to unscheduled descent for any reason (transportation, lodging, food, etc.)

       Gratuity for guides (at your discretion)

Please note

  1. The price includes only one ascent attempt.
  2. An attempt is considered successful if the group with guides leaves the shelter no later than 05:00 and reaches a minimum altitude of 4200 meters on foot or 4500 meters by snowcat.
  3. If the attempt is unsuccessful for the whole group or for individual participants due to weather conditions or poor health, it is possible to repeat the attempt the following day. This will incur additional costs for accommodation in a mountain hotel, meals, and guide services.
  4. If the attempt cannot be made on the scheduled day due to bad weather, the following day will be used at no extra cost.
  5. The organization will make every effort to ensure a successful ascent but cannot guarantee 100% success.
  6. If the ascent is not possible due to physical unfitness or adverse weather conditions, the organization will not provide any compensation.
