What's included and not included in the tour price (South Route)
Standard Tariff
- Visa invitation letter: We will send this as soon as we receive your deposit and a copy of your passport.
- Local registration for foreigners in accordance with Russian law.
- Airport transfers for the group (Mineralnye Vody – Terskol and return).
- Accommodation in one of the hotels in the Cheget Glade: "Snezhny Bars," "Smile," or "Solnechnaya Glade" (2-3 bedded rooms).
- Accommodation in the mountain hotel "Cheeper-Azau" (5-8 bedded rooms with shower).
- Accommodation in the mountain hotel "Heart of Elbrus" (8-bedded rooms with shared facilities).
- Services of an experienced guide who will accompany you throughout the program, as well as assistant guides on the day of the ascent.
- Three meals a day made from natural products, including packed lunches for acclimatization outings and the ascent. Chef services are included throughout the tour.
- Group equipment: ropes, carabiners, ice drills, first aid kit.
- Safety equipment: GPS navigators, radios, registration with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, expedition medical kit, etc.
- Ski lift and cable car fees.
- Entrance Fee to Visit the Prielbrusie National Park
- Commemorative badge "For climbing Elbrus."
- Certificate of ascent or of reaching a certain altitude for each participant.
Additional Amenities in the "Comfort" Tariff
- Superior accommodation in a hotel on the Cheget Glade (single standard room or twin accommodation in superior rooms).
- Superior accommodation in the mountain hotel "Cheeper-Azau" (3-4 bedded rooms).
- Superior accommodation in the mountain hotel "Heart of Elbrus" (comfortable 4-bedded rooms with a bathroom on the floor).
Additional Amenities in the "VIP" Tariff
- Accommodation in the exclusive panoramic eco-hotel "Leaprus" (12-bedded rooms) instead Heart of Elbrus.
Please note: The number of Comfort and VIP tariff places is limited due to the availability of this type of accommodation. Early booking is recommended.
Not Included in the Tour Price
- Russian entry visa.
- Compulsory mountaineering insurance.
- Private transfer from/to MRV airport ($80–90).
- Single supplement in Terskol/Cheget hotels ($45 per person).
- Optional snowcat lift (approximately $200–250 per person).
- Personal clothing and equipment (much of which can be hired – see kit hire list).
- Personal expenses, such as gifts, alcohol/bottled drinks, laundry, etc.
- Snowcat descent fees (if you choose not to walk down).
- Expenses for an unscheduled descent for any reason.
- Additional climbing attempt ($450).
- Climbing two peaks with a private guide ($570).
- Permit for Climbing Mount Elbrus – $150 (if introduced in the 2025 season)
- Gratuity for guides (at your discretion).
Transportation
- Group Airport Transfers: Mineralnye Vody – Terskol – Mineralnye Vody.
- On the first day, you must arrive in Mineralnye Vody no later than 14:15 to catch the group transfer. If you arrive later, we can arrange a private transfer for you.
- On the last day, group transfers will ensure you arrive at the airport in time for flights departing after 11:30. If your flight departs earlier or much later, a private transfer can be arranged for $80–100. Please note: the journey from Terskol to the airport takes approximately 3 hours.
Additional Services

Snowcat Lift: Approximately $200–250 per person.
- Snowcat ascent: From the high camp to the Pastukhova Rocks (4800 m) or Kosaya Shelf (5100 m) and return. This option conserves energy and increases your chances of a successful ascent.

Extra Night at Cheget Glade: $55 for a twin/triple room, $80 for a single room. Includes breakfast; other meals are not included.

Private Airport Transfer: $80–100 if:
- You arrive in Mineralnye Vody after 14:15 on the first day.
- Your return flight departs earlier than 11:30 or much later on the last day.

Extra Summit Attempt: $450 for 1–3 people, plus $100 per person for mountain lodging and meals for you and your guide. This may be needed if:
- Weather conditions change unexpectedly, making the first attempt unsafe.
- One or more participants feel unwell or decide to descend.
