Uday P., August 2019
Dear Irina,
This is to thank you for all the arrangements you did for our recent Elbrus Climb, 11th to 18th August 2019. I am also sorry that we couldn't meet in person.
Your base-camp team at Terskol is wonderful. The caring, helping and loving attitude of Anastasia is worthy of appreciation. The very wonderful gift by her on my birthday was beyond any thing. Her other team at rentals and office was very efficient. The accommodation and food arrangements both at Terskol and summit camp was good. The reception and pick-up at Mineralnye Vody airport was a big relief for us in a foreign country.
Our Trek Guide, Dana, was very efficient and helping. Her guidance made the climb easier for all our team-mates. I also must thank you for a very efficient team on slopes for the acclimatization and summit climbs.
Although I could not summit myself, you made my Elbrus climb a memorable event, witch I shall cherish throughout my life.
With all this, I shall always recommend Elbrus Tours to all my trekking friends.
Thanks again and with regards.
Uday

Irina, The adventure with Boris was excellent. We climbed in a speed record the peak of Elbrus. Boris was a very knowledgeable and experienced guide to climb with. I felt safe and challenged during my ascent.
Ciao, Williams. B P.

Rodney W., USA, June 2019
Dear Sergey (and anyone else at Elbrus tours that may see this - Anastasia, Maria, Filip …),
I just arrived back in the US after being gone the last 2 weeks and the final 8 days in Spain and I wanted to reach out to let you know how much we appreciated the excellent service that we received while in Russia to climb Elbrus. Of course, we were delighted to make the summit and the services you provided certainly helped with that. More importantly, however, the kindness and professionalism we received at every step of our journey is a true testament to your company and the people you employ. I cannot think of one item of constructive criticism I can share, as each person (or persons) we interacted with were a pleasure to be with and I would rate highly in whatever role they played.
I must take a brief moment to let you know that Maria (at the airport in MRV) is a true gem and we will never forget her kindness. She went out of her way to not only take our lost luggage from Moscow to her home and then meet up with us there so we could get it back, but she also took incredible care of us on the day of our departure and made sure all of our needs were taken care of. Truly, well above and beyond the normal job description and we appreciated it very much. Also, Filipencko (our guide) took extremely good care of us on the mountain and helped to make the climb truly memorable in our short time-frame.
Thank you again for the wonderful service and we hope our reviews expressed how satisfied we were with your company and how much we would recommend you in the future.
Very best, Rodney
Stefan O., Sweden, July 2018

Radu and Julius C., Sweden, 2017
Thank you for a well planned, smooth and pleasant expedition to Elbrus! Everything worked very well. Our special thanks to our wonderful guide, Ksenia. She was great. We felt safe with her and she took very well care of us. I will send you a separate mail for her, which maybe you could forward to her.
All the best, Radu and Julius
I would like you to know that we really enjoyed this journey with your company into the russian caucasus.
Your quick services, good information, the phantastic planning of pick up and bring service, the very great mountainguide Vladimir, and all other things were perfectly organized!
Ben Muttingly, USA, 2016
Thank you Elbrus Tours for an amazing experience. Everything from the time we got picked up to the time we left was absolutely incredible. Dmitry Ermakov (our main guide) was AWESOME! All 14 of us summited, but more importantly we met great people, shared laughter, sweat, and determination. Irina with administration answered all my questions, everyone was friendly, the food was excellent, and our non-traditional traverse from South to North went smoothly. I can't say enough good things about our experience. I hope to be back again and run another Mountain Medicine CME with Wild Med Adventures, LLC in the future.
Jim Meseck, 2016
Thank you and the Elbrus Tours staff for providing a wonder and safe opportunity to experience Russia and Mt. Elbrus. Everything went smoothly despite my mistake resulting in missing my flight. I had a great time with the other team members, the guide Ivan, the assistant guides, and the hut staff. Thank you so much for your role in allowing me this opportunity.
I want to single out for praise the guide Ivan. He did a great job. It was very impressive to see him concerned with our safety and seemingly being everywhere at once on the summit morning. He is a talented mountaineer. I hope Elbrus Tours considers using him more regularly and more frequently with other tours. He is talented at his job, has a great attitude and made me feel like he genuinely cared about my wellbeing. Thank you once again and good luck with all your future endeavors.
I just want to let you know that I had a great time at Mt. Elbrus and came back well to Germany on Monday. The tour organization, the conditions at Base and High Camp and of course the guide were excellent! Thanks for your support in making such a wonderful experience possible!
Denis Kostyuk, Russia, 2016
Elbrus Tours is a really customer-oriented company that has experienced guides and trusted infrastructure. These guys make their best for you to reach the summit. You will be satisfied with the service and hospitality level.
It was an incredibly well run trip....Many thanks to Dmitry Ermakov and the other Elbrus Tours guides for an outstanding experience!
"There was a lot of uncertainly leading up to this climb of Elbrus. Back in February there were a couple terrorist incidents reported in the news. Three Russian skiers were killed and others injured when their van was stopped by armed men on the way to the Mt Elbrus ski area. An explosion on Elbrus brought down some gondola cars on the ski lift. The government responded by engaging and killing terrorists in a battle near the mountain. The mountain was closed for a few weeks and then reopened. Things then stayed quiet in the area. Just weeks before we were to leave for Elbrus the mountain was closed again. There had not been any new incidents to trigger this closing. Only the onset of summer.
Meanwhile we had our visas, paid for plane tickets and arranged and paid for tours of Moscow and St Petersburg. Cancelling the trip entirely was not a reasonable option for us. Even if we couldn’t go to the mountain we were going to Russia. But we did want to climb..." Read the the report
