How to get to Mt. Elbrus
In order to get to Mt. Elbrus you need to arrive to airport Mineralnye Vody (MRV). There are daily direct flights from Moscow and Saint-Petersburg.

How to get from Mineralnye Vody to Elbrus southern route
The distance between Mineralnye Vody and Mt. Elbrus southern foot is 180 km and it takes about 3,5 to get from point A to point B. Group transportation from airport Mineralnye Vody to our hotel at the foot of Mt. Elbrus is included into tour cost. If you arrive independently we can arrange a taxi that will meet you in airport.
How to get from Mineralnye Vody to Mt. Elbrus northern route
The first destination for those who wants to climb Mt. Elbrus from the north is town of Kislovodsk. The distance between Mineralnye Vody and Kislovodsk is 50 km. The group transfer from the airport to Kislovodsk is included into tour cost. We can arrange a taxi for you if you arrive later than the shuttle bus departs. You can also go by public transport: there are suburban electric trains from railway station Mineralnye Vody to Kislovodsk which depart every 1 hour. Price of train ticket is about 2 Euro.
Then we have one overnight in town of Kislovodsk. It is a popular in Russia SPA-town with beautiful architecture. The next day early in the morning (about 7 a.m) we start for the northern foot of Elbrus. Last part of the road is not asphalted, so, we go by an off-road vehicle. It takes about 2,5 hours to get to Dzhily-Su, and at the and of our way we will have to cross a mountain river, That's why we start so early, before the rising sun melts the snows and glaciers and the river raises its level.
